The recent UK government ‘emergency’ budget and its implications for local economies has once again had the great and the good of Cambridge (that’s Cambridge, UK not Cambridge, US) asking why, despite its reputation as a source of technology innovation, it hasn’t generated a substantial local economy.

Despite a modest rise in entrepreneurs’ confidence over the past year, the majority still believe it will be difficult to secure funds in the near future. Overall confidence levels among entrepreneurs have risen by 2% since December, according to an Investec and Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) report. Click here for more information.
